Christian Lopez & Joe Taxi is a trio from the northern hills of West Virginia. Their roots of American Folk, Rock, and Country music gleam through them with every song and every performance. Christian Lopez, the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, has introduced a new style of song, with intense drums and bass yet melodic and arranged melodies stemming from the influence of Jackson Browne to Johnny Cash. Flourished with lyrical depth, Christian Lopez's songs are delivered nightly with the heart and intensity of him and his band, Joe Taxi. Lopez's EP is currently available, and the debut full length album is to be released in early 2014 along with the single, "Fell Down".

Christian Lopez & Joe Taxi has had national success as the winners of the 2012 WVU Coca Cola Battle of the Bands, 2012 Moonstruck Battle of the Bands, and 2012 The Ottobar Battle of the Bands, and the 2013 Blue Ridge Music Festival Battle of the Bands. The trio went on to play on The Vans Warped Tour 2012, The 9:30 Club, Pickin' in the Panhandle, and have toured up and down the east coast since 2012. The latest 2013 Summer Tour, consisting of over 15,000 miles, allowed the band to spread thier music to cities from Cleveland to Baltimore, Pittsburgh to DC, and Nashville, TN. With massive college appeal, the band has also performed at many Universities and attracted new fans all over the country, and with Lopez's American Idol success on Season 11 and 12, making it to the top 37 men, Christian has attracted fans from all over the world.
